The Moore Farms App

The Moore Farms application at moorefarms.xyz (the “App”) is a private farm-management tool for the owners and operators of Moore Farms. By using the App you agree to use it for its intended farm-operations purpose and to keep your login credentials secure. Access is granted by Moore Farms and may be changed or revoked at any time.

Text messaging (SMS) program

Accepting these Terms does not opt you in to text messages, and text messages are not a condition of anything. SMS consent is separate from these Terms, is given by a deliberate action described below, and is never required to create an account, sign in, use any part of the App, complete any transaction, or hold a job here. Declining changes nothing about what you can use. This section describes the program; it does not grant consent to it.

Moore Farms operates a text-message program that sends operational alerts — including severe-weather and rainfall alerts, price-target and market notifications, system/outage notifications, and account notifications — to opted-in users.

• Opt-in. Owners and operators opt in inside the App, on the notification-settings screen, by entering their mobile number and turning on “Text-message alerts” (off by default; active consent required). The consent statement reads: “I agree to receive recurring operational text messages from Moore Farms — severe weather, rainfall, grain price-target and system alerts — at the mobile number given. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.” It is identical on the public opt-in form at moorefarms.xyz/sms-opt-in, in the App, and here. That box agrees to text messages and to nothing else — accepting these Terms does not tick it, and it is never required to create an account, sign in, or use any part of the App. Users may also opt in by texting START to (815) 627-1956.
• Message frequency varies and is recurring, based on weather and system events.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
• Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at jman4237@gmail.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier and device conditions.

How we handle your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

No warranty

The App and its alerts are provided “as is” to support farm decisions and are not a substitute for official weather warnings or professional advice. Moore Farms is not liable for actions taken based on the App or its messages.

We may update these terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
