Moore Farms

Moore Farms operates a private farm-management application (the “App”) at moorefarms.xyz, used by the owners and operators of Moore Farms to manage fields, agronomy, markets, equipment, weather, and related records. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, with specific detail on our text-message (SMS) program.
We collect only what the App needs to function:
With your consent, Moore Farms sends operational text messages to the mobile number on your account — such as severe-weather and rainfall alerts, price-target and market notifications, system/outage notifications, and account notifications.
How you opt in. On our public opt-in form at moorefarms.xyz/sms-opt-in, which needs no login: enter a mobile number and tick a consent box that is unchecked by default. The same unchecked box appears in the App on the notification-settings screen, and a number can also opt in by texting START to (815) 627-1956. Consent is a deliberate, separate action in every case, and the page offers an explicit decline that leaves everything else available. The consent statement shown is identical everywhere and reads: “I agree to receive recurring operational text messages from Moore Farms — severe weather, rainfall, grain price-target and system alerts — at the mobile number given. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.”
That box agrees to text messages and to nothing else. It is not bundled with these terms, with our Privacy Policy, or with creating or using an account.

We use your information only to provide and secure the App, to deliver the alerts and notifications you opt into, and to operate the farm’s records. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the App (for example, our hosting and messaging providers) under agreements that limit their use to providing those services, and as required by law. As stated above, mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared for third-party marketing.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information and retain it only as long as needed to operate the App and meet legal obligations.
